I anledning Gruppe 9s 40-årsjubileum i år, har kunstner, avistegner og Gruppe 9-medlem Wilfred Hildonen tatt initiativet til å bringe galleriet inn i det 21. århundret. Han samler galleriets 40-årige historie på film.

Det er moro med separatutstilling. Da kan jeg vise hele meg. På en sommer- eller juleutstilling får du bare vist deg fram glimtvis.
Wilfred Hildonen In 2006, I had 2 major exhibitions in Viseu, Portugal and this is from the Politécnico College there and a video presentation they did for their own TV-station. In Portuguese - and what I say is more or less that as a painter I do not work with 3 dimensions but 2 and that I do not tell stories, I paint:)

Welcome to what one could call my profile page as an artist and creative person, here on Facebook. Let no stone be unturned and this is one of many attempts to promote my work, as an illustrator and as a free artist.
The reason why I write this in English, is that it is the lingua franca of our times, and I have friends... from all over the world, so it would not be just to many of them, if I chose to write here in Norwegian, for instance. So bear with me and allow me to introduce myself/ Im a man of wealth and taste/I´/ve been around for a long, long year

Why not let the work speak for itself? More examples are to be found on my home page. I have made several thousands of editorial cartoons along with hundreds of other illustrations, if not more, and I have close to a hundred paintings and also other drawings etc., so it is impossible to give a full presentation of my work. But enjoy what there is!

Wilfred Hildonen A TV interview in Norwegian - NRK Østafjells gjorde dette intervjuet med meg rett etter at jeg hadde flyttet tilbake til Norge i 2006. Hvorfor de gjorde det, vet jeg ikke. I Norge er jeg jo et null! Hahaha!

Wilfred Hildonen One of the other expressions of my creatitivity is painting. I have worked to reach the abstract and painted myself through the motives which came in between. The abstract may not be the final word, but it is an important one to me.
