Anna Carey joins Will Phalen for a rare acoustic duo performance at Chicago's fabled Uncommon Ground on Clark Street.
We thank our friend Julie Meckler for inviting us to join her during her month-long residency at the coffee house/bar/restaurant.
We hope you'll join us too for a pre-Thanksgiving offering of song and so...und.
Show starts at 8 pm. We are on first, followed by the lovely French chanteuse, Mademoiselle Julie Meckler.
Also, we expect a large turn-out for this event and it is a small room, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot for yourself!

Join us Thanksgiving weekend for the fourth installment of the... Midwestern Folk Rock Revival concert series! Two of our favorite bands, Death Ships and Big Leaf Linden willl open up the festivities. And the Stereo Addicts will be joined on stage by two special guests: our good friends, John Patek (violin) and Anna Carey (singing harmonies).
This is going to be a big one. So big, we're going to film it. So come on out and help make this a night worthy of documentation!

Hi Friends,
Will here. This Sunday I will be playing at Quennect 4 Gallery along with Curtis Evans and his band and a very nice sounding group from the Carolinas called American Aquarium (yes, that's a ...wilco reference).
This is kind of a special performance because I'll be performing without the Stereo Addicts, which gives me a chance to play some songs I don't play very often and to play some others that I've never played before. Also, Ms. Anna Carey will be adding her voice and talents to a bunch of the songs as well. It's a new thing we're doing and we call ourselves "Bonnie and Clyde."
The event is supposed to be by "invite only" and I was supposed to hand out these neat personal invitations, but I haven't really gotten around to that, so consider yourselves "invited." It will start at 8 pm this Sunday 9/20. Quennect4 is at 2716 W. North Avenue. And they're staging the performance upstairs, which should be great. There's a cover at the door, but if you're thinking of coming let me know and I'll get you one of the invitations which will get you a couple bucks off.
If you can't make it Sunday, I (minus Anna) will be playing again on Monday in Chicago at Underground Wonder Bar. That's 10 E. Walton (State and Walton).

It's been a while. I hope summer was good to you.
We're about to start a busy and exciting Fall performance season and we'll be kicking it off next Tuesday September 15th in Milwaukee.

...for their Oktoberfest Release party. The event run...s from 6 pm until 11 pm. We play from 7 until 10 pm. It's going to be a long night of music, beer and fun. The event is FREE, open to the public (21+) and they'll serving free food provided by local restaurants with a cash bar.
If you've never been to Sprecher, this will be a pretty neat chance to see one of Milwaukee's brewing gems while hanging out with us! We've been working on a hand-selected set of drinking songs, which you won't want to miss. That being said, you can request Roll Out the Barrel, but we probably won't play it. Still, we've got some good ones ready for you.

Short notice:
We will be at Stonefly Brewery at 735 E. Center Street in Milwaukee tomorrow, Wednesday August 12th.
Joining us will be Allen Cote (of the Championship) and Jerry Joseph. Show starts at 10:00 pm sharp; we're on second (around 10:30). We'll be doing an acoustic set with the full group -- something... we've never done before -- so it should be a fun and unique evening.
Stay tuned for more updates coming soon. We've got lots of neat things in the works at the moment.
