Nigel Madden Hello, WM Admission! My name is Nigel. I applied to William and Mary for the 2009 fall semester and got waitlisted. I visited the campus last fall and fell in love with the school. I have received a lot of money to attend George Washington University, but I can’t help keeping my hopes up about William and Mary. The school was everything I’d ever dreamed of for my college, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to improve my chances of being offered a spot off the waitlist. I would love to call or email one of you to discuss this, or message back and forth over facebook. Please, if there is any advice at all you could give me, I would very much appreciate it. Erin Hello, WM Admission!!! I just got home from a fantastic experience today at William and Mary. Thanks for such a great day! I had a question regarding sciences - I do not have time in my schedule to take physics, but I am taking it this summer and it will appear on my transcript. Will admissions look at this physics the same as physics taught during the school year? Thanks! - Erin, NJ :)

Catherine Daugharty I'm actually only a sophomore, but I'm gearing up for my college years and very excited about the years ahead. Recently, I took a tour of W&M and Tish spoke to us prior to the tour. She mentioned about how applicants would send in things to her such as ballet shoes or a broken cast even! Is that part of your application? Does it help in the decision making process? In general, how does that work?

Ian Kingsbury I got accepted but I would not be able to afford the out-of-state tuition. Being out of state, is there any chance that I could get a decent grant?

Hi W&M Admissions! I'm a junior and I absolutely adore the College and everything it has to offer me, and I plan to apply for early acceptance next school year. I was just wondering if one aptitude test was looked upon more favorably by the committee than the other - that is, would it be more fruitful for me to send in my SAT instead of my ACT or vice versa? I have heard that either will do, but I thought I'd check in with the highest authority on this one. Thanks!

Tshepo Mathabane Early December of 2008 I received my acceptance letter from Henry R. Broaddus and just wanted to say thank you to him and to the entire WM Admissions for a second opportunity. Yes, it was my second acceptance letter, after an affliction with family affair, I never thought I'd make it again to WM but I did.
