On Friday, November 6th at 4:15 PM the Department of Music presents Music & Conversation with composer, Matthew Greenbaum. His chamber opera "AMERICA, THIS IS QUITE SERIOUS" is a 25-minute opera based on 3 poems of Allen Ginsberg: "America" "A Supermarket in California" and "The weight of the wor...ld is love". It will be performed by Cyndie Bellen-Berthézène and video in MacCrate Recital Hall, Union Building, and is free and open to the public.
