Brandywine YMCA The Brandywine YMCA (and all YMCAs in Delaware) will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving. We will re-open on Friday at 5:00 a.m. There are bonus classes for wellness and aquatic fitness for the weekend, but no other programs. Regular classes do not run from Friday through Sunday. ~ Happy Thanksgiving from the staff team at Brandywine!
Brandywine YMCA We have not gotten ONE single suggestion for our New Year's Day celebration. We typically open for four hours, from 10-2, offer some new group wellness classes and we have fun activities for families. The Kids Zone is also open for the entire event. Brandywine YMCA Our event to celebrate our volunteers, scheduled for this Sunday, October 25th at the Hanby Outdoor Center has been cancelled, due to a very low response rate for the event. We will be working on a different event to honor our volunteers. Stay Tuned!

Brandywine YMCA The Brandywine YMCA Giant Step Program is hosting a consingment sale Saturday, October 10th in the morning at the YMCA. The items for sale are primarily childrens' items. It's also our first home swim meet, so the North Pool schedule will be modified for the day. Please call the YMCA for more details....478-9622.
Brandywine YMCA The running group that meets at 9:30 a.m. MWF is looking for some new members! One mile/Two Miles/5K/5 Miles....your choice! Maps provided...all paces welcome! Brandywine YMCA Mark you calender for the Brandywine YMCA's annual Fall Festival at the Hanby Outdoor Center, October 11th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Games, food, hayrides, and much more! Everything is free and open to the community so bring your friends and neighbors. Wear your costume for the parade! This is a really great event for ...the whole family. Friendly pets on leashes are welcome and may participate in the parade!
Brandywine YMCA For those of you who get up early, join Laura Schofield-Pierson for Zen Station on Tuesday mornings from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. It's a gentle yoga class with a moving meditation component. Brandywine YMCA Reminder.....the Brandywine YMCA is closed tomorrow due to the Labor Day holiday. However, tomorrow is the last day to enjoy the YMCA Hanby Outdoor Center pool! The pool is open from 10:00 - 8:00 p.m. today and on Labor Day. The branch is open today until 9:00 p.m. and will re-open on Tuesday, September 8th at 5:00 a.m.
