The Delaware College of Art and Design is the state's first and only professional art and design school. Located in downtown Wilmington, DCAD offers Associate of Fine Art degrees in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design and Photography. DCAD is a creative partnership of Pratt Institute in NYC and The Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. Students who successfully complete the two-year program at DCAD can transfer as juniors to Pratt, the Corcoran or other colleges of art and design. DCAD also offers Continuing Education classes and certificate programs. DCAD is accredited both by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
