Major General Frank Vavala assumed duties as the Adjutant General, Delaware, on February 1, 1999. As adjutant general, he is responsible for the mission readiness of all Delaware National Guard units for both federal and state missions.

Delaware National Guard The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for New Castle County from 7 am to 4 pm. Please use extreme caution when traveling.
Delaware National Guard DENG is under a liberal leave policy. You may take unscheduled leave without supervisor approval or if you have difficulty making it to work on time you can request additional leave through your supervisor. Snow removal personnel report early according to supervisor instructions. Call 302-326-snow (7669) for additional information.
Delaware National Guard SNOW IS ON THE WAY According to Weather.com, a major snow storm is headed to Delaware beginning tonight. The snow will continue for most of the day on Saturday and possibly into Sunday. A winter storm warning has been issued for most of the state.
