MPHS... See More’s Annual Beef and Beer will be held on Saturday, March 13th from 6:30pm-12:00 midnight at the Crystal Center, 728 Philadelphia Pike. Grab your friends, family, neighbors or coworkers and come join in the fun! A buffet dinner will be served with beverages including beer and wine. After dinner, enjoy an evening of music and dancing. You must be at least 21 to attend. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased either in advance by calling 302.793.0240 or at the door the night of the event. All proceeds to benefit Mt Pleasant High School 2010 After Prom. Hope to see you there!

Ken, I graduated in 1981 and was a DJ on WMPH in 80-81. I would love to tell you how WMPH influenced the lives of those it touched... if I could just remember them :) All kidding aside. I believe we were leaders in advancing the alternative radio movement. We played stuff we heard from some of the college stations and heard live (UD, Temple, ... See MorePenn). I can remember playing some Captain Beefheart, and after hearing the lyrics, wondering when the cops would come bursting through the door... thank God the only ones listening were the kids!

Mount Pleasant High School David G. Menser - Age 76 of Wilmington, DE, died November 23, 2009, at Christiana Hospital.
In 1955 he began his career as a classroom teacher at Mt. Pleasant Junior High School. In 1965 he moved to Mt. Pleasant High School where he taught social studies. He coached boy’s soc­cer from 1968 to 1980 and girl’s swimming fr...om 1978 to 1982, winning the state championship in 1982. He produced several school musicals; advised the student council and American Field Service student exchange chapter; organized and led student trips to New York, Washington, London and Rome and bareboat charter sailing trips to the Virgin Islands.
