We're about 20 years late for this. For example, the last TV was made in the US in 1998. People should have thought of this when they ran out to Wal-Mart to save a few pennies buying cheap imports. Now the US factories are all closed down and it doesn't matter anymore.

I agree Ken...it's time to find other ways to build our economy, such as innovations in technology, energy, etc. We also need to learn how to function in a global economy through better education for our children, including more focus on learning other languages. It's time to look to the future and stop lamenting the past. The world is changing - we can change with it or be left behind. The genie cannot be put back in the bottle.
