By-Election in Poole: Results

Yesterday's By Election in Branksome East was a success! Karen won by 173 votes with her securing 923 votes to the Lib Dem total of 750. She'll now succeed the much missed Mary Hillman in representing Branksome East alongside Guy and we wish her every success.

Our new website is coming along quite nicely and I hope to have it up and running by the end of next week.

I have posted a quick preview of the site for all to see in our photo gallery:

By-Elections in Bournemouth: Results

I am pleased to announce that both Doug Spencer in Winton East and Cheryl Johnson in Queens Park were elected in yesterday's Bournemouth Borough Council by-elections!

I would like to thank everyone who lent their support to the campaign!

Right then

I'd love for other members to come up with debate topics and start threads on them. Otherwise, as recent news and events come up, if relevant we'll start something up

I actually think having a debate online is a most excellent way to get people across the whole of Dorset and Wiltshire involved considering the vastness of the two counties. We've seen a big expansion of the use of the Internet by right of centre bloggers, we should be now using it to communicate, and well, have a bit of fun as an organisation really. The Internet is our plaything!
