I have been contacted by the Assistant Producer of Channel 4's reality TV show "Shipwrecked". She is interested in having a member of Conservative Future on the show for next year's series. Find below a copy of the email.
Regards,
Paul Hughes
We're looking for politically minded people to take part in the next series of Shipwrecked for Channel 4- a survival programme which takes a group of young people out to a deserted island and teaches them to survive as if shipwrecked!
For the next series we're really keen to find exceptional people to cast away on the idyllic Cook Islands and have the experience of a lifetime-learning to build accommodation, cook- island style and work as a team.
As a young conservative - I’m sure the team would benefit from their resourcefulness and ideas and if it’s something that is of interest could they please email: their name, age, contact details, occupation and a photo to Shipwreckedapplication@rdftelevision.com with the subject "conservative"

By-Election in Poole: Results
Yesterday's By Election in Branksome East was a success! Karen won by 173 votes with her securing 923 votes to the Lib Dem total of 750. She'll now succeed the much missed Mary Hillman in representing Branksome East alongside Guy and we wish her every success.

Right then
I'd love for other members to come up with debate topics and start threads on them. Otherwise, as recent news and events come up, if relevant we'll start something up

I actually think having a debate online is a most excellent way to get people across the whole of Dorset and Wiltshire involved considering the vastness of the two counties. We've seen a big expansion of the use of the Internet by right of centre bloggers, we should be now using it to communicate, and well, have a bit of fun as an organisation really. The Internet is our plaything!
