The Firestation is Windor's new centre for arts and culture.
The Firestation offers an exciting, vibrant and diverse programme of live events, exhibitions and film as well as a great range of classes, courses and support for community groups.

Ignition! In association with Muhead.com has been a regular fixture of the Berkshire music scene, since The Firestation first opened its big red doors to the good people of The Royal Borough, consistently bringing the very best in new music to Windsor.
On Saturday December 5th, Ignition! Is moved from it’s usual firs...t Friday slot to the Saturday, and from The Basement Bar to the Auditorium in order to showcase two of the most exciting, promising and downright brilliant bands playing in the UK today… Sergeant and Blighters..
Since signing a contract with Mercury Records in 2007 Sergeant have managed to develop a great fan base that extends far from their base is Glenrothes Fife, their brilliantly catchy blend of tuneful Indie and huge gigs supporting Oasis and The Fratellis certainly may have helped.
They come to The Firestation as part of their nationwide headline tour, highly acclaimed and on the way to the top, they are one of the most exciting prospects in Indie for years, always putting on a brilliant show, we are delighted to be welcoming them to play in this Ignition! Special, which will be a standing gig held in The Firestation’s auditorium.
Sergeant will be supported by London based upstarts ‘Blighters’, New Wave from now… these guys are set to smash it, with angular rock, beats to get you up and moving and an ear for a solid tune..
Two of the most promising bands on the scene at the moment, join together for a very special Ignition!

Gary Daly is performing an exclusive live set of new music at the opening of his exhibition 'How to live and love your life'. China Crisis will be performing an intimate, acoustic gig, featuring Gary, his friends from The Crisis and some very special guests.
Gary's wonderfully eclectic artwork is a mixture of portrai...ts, historical characters and people in pop culture. His artwork influences his music, and vice versa. His first solo show was held earlier this year in his home town of Kirkby, Merseyside, where he set up studio during the show.
He will be available during the Private View to chat about both his visual art and his music.

...the new play by Adrian Preater, is a tragic-comic look at mor(t)ality in a dying world, through the eyes of a condemned man.. and his duck. What is his crime? He has no idea. All he does know is that his ex-wife was in charge of the prosecution at his trial… and his duck has no sympathy.
Joshua is suitable for ages ...16 to 160 and explores themes as diverse as the environment and parenthood, the seven deadly sins and crucifixion, in a seriously funny way.
