University of Winnipeg Library Bad Research: In 1996, the journal Social Text printed an article by Alan D. Sokal, "Transgressing the Boundaries: Toward a Transformative Hermeneutics of Quantum Gravity". University of Winnipeg Library Bad Research: In 1971, Manuel Elizalde Jr. claimed to have discovered a stone-age tribe in the Philippine rainforests.
