
WisItalia, Inc. President Barack Obama and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will be visiting Wright Middle School in Madison, Wed, Nov 4th. Wright is a 12-year-old charter school that emphasizes getting involved and creating positive change in the community. Wright is one of two middle schools in Madison with an Italian language program taught by Andy Muller. There are currently 40 6th graders enrolled in the Italian program.

Peter Carini of Carini’s La Conca d’Oro restaurant in Shorewood will offer a cooking class as a fund raiser for the Filippo Mazzei Lodge OSIA. He will prepare a calamari appetizer, seafood tortellini as the main course, and cassata cake for dessert.
