WisItalia, Inc. President Barack Obama and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will be visiting Wright Middle School in Madison, Wed, Nov 4th. Wright is a 12-year-old charter school that emphasizes getting involved and creating positive change in the community. Wright is one of two middle schools in Madison with an Italian languag...e program taught by Andy Muller. There are currently 40 6th graders enrolled in the Italian program.

WisItalia, Inc. The October 17, 2009, general WisItalia meeting that was to be held in Green Bay has been canceled. It may be re-scheduled for sometime in the Spring 2010.

Want to study in Italy for 3 weeks at the Palazzo Feltrinelli in Gargnano del Garda for the months of July and August 2010? There will be 60 scholarships, provided by the University of Milan, for students who have a fair knowledge of Italian.... Please spread the word to high school and college/university students.
