Wizz RSS News Reader I have made two “Vulnerability safe” versions available.

Right, I have patched two different versions of Wizz RSS. Hopefully these versions are now vulnerability safe, but I’m not going to guarantee that! Version 3.1.0.5 is a for those who are still using Firefox 3.5.n, and version 3.2.0.0 is a beta for those who are using Firefox 3.6b1 or 3.6b2.

After much digging into the Wizz RSS code to uncover the cause of the toolbar weirdness, I have finally found it! The Wizz RSS code is not at fault! I had to dig into the StumbleUpon code to find the real cause, and here it is: -

Wizz RSS News Reader Nice to see that the online help is actually being used :) I reinstalled MediaWiki on 6 July, and on 1 August the MediaWiki stats show that there have been over 16 000 page views.
Wizz RSS News Reader I've had no feedback with regard to testing 3.1.0.3, so I can only assume that no one has bothered to test it, or that everyone who has tested it is 100% happy that there aren't any bugs. I'll release 3.1.0.3 through AMO later today.

Since Firefox 3.5 was released, quite a few people have reported strange behavior with the Wizz RSS toolbar. I haven’t seen it myself so it’s a bit difficult for me to describe, but following are some of the reports I’ve received.
