I so much would like to visit when I return to the West Coast next year. These animals as beautiful as they are are still wild. I do hope they are not being bred for pets even as socialized as they are with humans.

The travel & adventure meetup group is going there this next Sunday to be in with the wolves, some of them. Actually there is 6 real live wolves you can be around - up close and personal. I can hardly wait. We loved it the last time. www.travel.meetup.com/519

Jill I went just this past week. The wolves were incredible. There were also tiny puppies there that were so cute. My husband and I almost took one, but we live in MA. I would love to know if/when they find homes.

You can park down at the supermarket and some could come pick you up, it's about 6 miles away. Call 760-248-7818 and talk to Tonya about it...

Nelcha

Nelcha I ♥ Wolves. I was even in Yellowstone in '95 when they released them back into the park. I have literally had my life saved by a Shepherd/Wolf when I was being attacked by a rabid Great Dane. Wolf is Teacher and on my totem.
Would love to come visit with you. WILL be in contact. Had a howl on my answering machine for years... aaaaaooooooooooo............. w00f

I watched it too, and I think it's disgraceful that at no time was there a discussion, or even a mention about wolf dogs.

Carly Anderson Hi Tonya! My Mom and I came out there from Phoenix last winter (the weekend after David from Ghost Whisperer!) My visit to the sanctuary is still one of the coolest things I've ever done! I loved getting a healing from Durango :) I hope we get to come back soon...
