So young and yet so evil!!! The most dreadful words for me were 'where he'll be tried.' Just never know what kind of sentence will be decided???

I have not directly sponsored a woman in Rwanda, but I had the pleasure of spending a day with the WforW folks in Kigali and Kyonza in July...and to meet over a dozen women who have benefited from the sponsorships and are now members of a farming cooperative. When we met at the farm they were EFFUSIVE about the appreciation and love they felt from... See More their sisters around the world who were providing sponsorship and support. Here are some pictures from that trip: http://www.flickr.com/photos/18405788@N00/sets/72157621645421629/

I had the privilege to meet all four of my sisters in Rwanda, and visited a farming coop like Donna mentions. The connection I felt with these women was incredible. All are working hard, have ambition to improve their lives and get such joy and hope from their connection with all sponsors. I was struck by the hard lives all the women of Rwanda ... See Morelive, yet how big their smiles were. The greeting dance and song we got at the cooperative put a smile on my face that is still there. It puts all of the daily trials and tribulations of life in the US into perspective. I now tell everyone I meet about WWI.

My husband and I are committed to building our greeting card business, with products that benefit WWI, by selling cards with my photos from Rwanda-- beautiful things. Please shop here for your holiday cards & gifts and tell all your friends, ask your local retailers to carry the cards! www.SceneEast.com, the WWI section is very easy to find in the shopping area. Thank you!

I went to Rwanda last May to visit WFWI and am already making plans to return. The success of Woman For Woman International is inspiring. It is wonderful to see our donations working. I truly fell in love with Rwanda and can see myself living and working there in the future. I find it's not enough just to donate.

I first worked in Rwanda in 2001. Since then, I have had the privilege to travel through the country on numerous occasions. Each time I am in Rwanda, I am moved to see the transformation that has taken place and continues to occur as Rwanda redefines itself.
