Woodstock Public Library (Woodstock, IL) Calling all turkeys! Children grades 1 through 5 are invited to craft their own Thanksgiving turkeys at home and enter them into the library’s Gobbler Competition. Entries will be accepted from Monday, November 2 until Friday, November 20 and will be displayed at the library throughout the month of November. A panel of judges will choose a winner on Monday, November 23. One entry per child please.

Woodstock Public Library (Woodstock, IL) Yes, it is hot on the upper and lower levels of the library. A critical part of our HVAC system went out in that part of the building. We are hoping the replacement will be in place by early next week.

Every year in November we pull the oldest year of all the magazines we subscribe to and put them on a folding table on the upper level. Please feel free to take one or 50 home with you!
