The Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild

The Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild 16 Hudson Valley architects designed and constructed“memorials” to Henry Hudson who never received a proper burial because his body was lost at sea after his crew mutinied. The outdoor installations are constructed at the historic Byrdcliffe Arts Colony on Upper Byrdcliffe Road, Woodstock. Each installation interprets ...Hudson’s historic voyage, updating and shedding light on its significance. Programming throughout the summer will elaborate on this theme through popular song, poetry, dance, puppetry, and scholarly discourse.
