WorkTravelSA.org Have a look the Blog of one of our Brazilian Hospitality Interns, Daniel Goulart put together during his time in SA - http://dgzus.blogspot.com. Hopefully your Portuguese is better than mine :-) I mainly looked at the photos! He really had some interesting experiences and it's all documented on the Blog. Nicolette, WorkTravelSA Team

Dear Charlie,
If you'd like to receive more information on the Cheetah Centre, please send us an email to community@worktravelsa.org and we'll send you full details.
It would also be helpful if any of the people in this group who has been to this project, could give her some feedback. Thanks!
We hope to hear from you!
Best wishes, WorkTravelSA team

Hi WorkTravelSA.org!,
I am looking for some more information about the The Chilli Adventures & Backpackers Internship Program and the Aids Orphanage Social Care. I really need to know the projects fees and what is included and how soon i would need to apply.
Thanks
Zoe

Dear Cory,
Thanks for your enquiry!
Our Programme/ Placement Fee includes the following for most of our Projects:
1. Return Airport Transfers
2. Accommodation in centrally located and furnished VolunteerHouse/ Apartment
3. Continental Breakfast
4. Project Placement
5. Project Management and Supervision
6. Arrival Orientation
7. Support Services from WTSA for the duration of stay
We would however have to send you specific information regarding a project as some of our programmes such as our wildlife programme does include all meals.
Please send us an email if you would like more information regarding a specific programme.
It's very difficult to give you a guestimate as there is so many factors to take into account. Each Programme also has different pricing and this will affect your overal total price.
I trust that answers some of your questions.
Regards,
WorkTravelSA Team

Hi WorkTravelSA.org!,
I guess I'm also asking in regards to what Vince brought up below... I got the same impression from the website that the only "check marks" that applied to us were the flight and insurance. It had "accommodations" taken care of... I thought meals, transportation, and lodging were all considered accommodations. But, again, I could be wrong.
I do have one question however, ON AVERAGE how much would a trip from the east coast of the U.S cost including all of the 'fees' that are incorporated in volunteering? A number guestimate would be awesome as well. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Cory

Step 1 : Avoid Getting Bitten Step number one of Malaria prevention is that if you don’t get bitten you won’t get malaria. Unfortunately the female Anopheles Mosquito that transmits malaria is a silent little mossy and doesn’t buzz to warn you of its presence...

Hi Vince.
Besides the airfare there are additional cost involved in volunteering in a foreign country. There are project fees involved in procuring a volunteer placement, these project fees include accommodation and some meal costs, transport to projects and project donations. A small part is also allocated to administration.
I trust that this answers your question. Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries
Warm Regards,
