FIM WORLD SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP
Starts September 5th from 9:00am
Ends September 7th at 5:00pm
Twice World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss signs-off from his British fans at Donington Park's eleventh round of the series over the weekend of 5-6-7 September.
The highly popular Aussie will be racing in this country for the f...inal time at the Leicestershire circuit having decided to hang-up his leathers at the end of this season.
These races could be crucial to him taking the title for a third time - riding the Xerox Ducati he has built up a healthy points lead and a winning double could ease him towards his goal.
Troy Corser and Nori Haga, riding Yamaha, intend to spoil the party in the Park for Bayliss with Max Neukirchner also coming into the reckoning.

NEUKIRCHNER'S FIRST WIN - Max Neukirchner obt...ained his maiden career win in race one, the first for a German rider. It has been a long time coming, since until now 86 German riders have participated in World Superbike races. The most successful German rider before Neukirchner was Jochen Schmidt, active from 1994 to 1999, who in 54 races obtained two podiums in the 1995 races held at Hockenheim. Neukirchner and Schmidt are the only Germans to step on to an SBK podium.
HAGA - The Japanese rider obtains his 28th win and with it his 80th podium placement.
KIYONARI - First podium for the 25 year-old Japanese rider, twice British Superbike champion. With Haga and Kiyonari both present on the podium of race 2,
