As for the present, we're jumping right back out of the frying pan for a very special acoustic show THIS THURSDAY! (8/6/09) at Spike Hill in Williamsburg Brooklyn (184/186 Bedford Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11211 (718) 218-9737). Yeah, yeah, it's a little short notice, but it's summer, the Mets are out of it, football is sti...ll in training camp mode, school is still out, and it's a rare chance to hear some rarely played eh-coustic chestnuts, some golden oldies, and some new takes on our quiet classics. Erica Glyn opens the night at 8pm, and we come on with bleeding fingers at 9pm, and the best part is, it's free as the crisp Williamsburg air. So come out, grab a cold beer, and we'll see you there!
