Doggie Dash 'N Splash

A kiddie... puppy event. All 1 year and under game in the kiddie pool. Special prizes for the top 3. Have a few sponsers offer grooming coupons, Dog trainers with nice leader leashs, Yuppie puppie toys from the speciality dog shops. Promote those places when you promote the event. Nice free advertising for them for their participation.

Everyone thinks their puppy is the cutest.... have a puppy show for a minimal entrance fee, they get a picture and bandanna. No real prises, except their dog gets to walk on the (pardon the expression) cat walk and show off walking with bandanna and owner behind with leash attached. That when the pic is taken....

Have a dog painting artist, paint on face cheek/side of snout.....cat faces, OSU, dog treat, cartoon child face, flower....

Don't know if these are do-able, just brainstorming here.
All the booths are nice.... I look forward to them and the goodies. But this would add a little something, and the Xenia paper could get some great shots.

i know its out of your control, but having the pool open. My daisy didn't get into the spray features this year. They were cute and very creative, but unfortunately she didn't like them. She is brittany and golden retreiver, so she likes the pool.

What happened to having the large pool open for them?

Patty...Thanks for the question. The pools were closed this year, both in Xenia and Fairborn, due to budget cuts. As a result, we created the spraygrounds for the dogs to have a "splash" in this year.
