Yaletown Grand Prix 6th Annual ZegnaSport Yaletown Grand Prix Set to Roll July 1st
High Speed Bike Racing and New Running Events Coming on Canada Day

After five years of bike racing, the ZegnaSport Yaletown Grand Prix has grown into one of the highlights of Vancouver’s summer, offering a full day of high-speed racing through Yaletown’s heri...tage district each Canada Day. This year, the excitement is going to grow with the addition of running races and neighbourhood events to the day’s schedule which is capped by the BC Cup bike races.

All the races will be held on the same 900 metre six-corner course with runners completing five laps for a total distance of 4500 metres and bike racers competing in races from 25-65 minutes long. The multi-lap running race will one of the first of its kind in Canada and will give friends, fans and family the chance to watch the race action unfold as runners pass by on the way to the finish line. Runners and riders will compete for a total of nearly $7000 in finish prize money and there will also be additional cash and merchandise primes included in the race on specific laps to keep the pace and excitement high.

Yaletown will be full of energy on race day with additional neighbourhood events scheduled including outdoor yoga classes in Hamilton St. from YYoga Yaletown, a Red Bull DJ session on Mainland St., a Canada Day Breakfast at Earl’s Yaletown, a street party at OPUS Hotel and music on the patio at Capone’s.
