by Richard at 3:31pm on June 29th, 2008
well i see over here in the uk we get this several months after it is shown in the usa.
i dont know if anyone else watched last night(28th) or tonight(29th) i got it on now, they tell you they going to show an old classic song it comes on for about 1 minute then cuts to some new song that just out now,why cant they just show the classic songs and leave the new stuff for other shows.
i am a mad mad yo fan but this is really doing my head in.if i wanted to watch kayne west or some new snoop song i would watch myv another time, this is supposed to be yo mtv 20 years celebration,so please stick with th eold classics and in full not a 1 minute clip like i been getting all night long....

Yo Rap 20 top moments
by Tiana at 8:01pm on April 29th, 2008
In the era of under skilled MC's and wack protege's its no wonder the wizards of MTV LAND and Fab 5 Freddy got hip and decided to revive the historical legacy set by the best show ever to showcase hip hop, Yo MTV Raps. I can not remember life before it and damn sure and sad about the down ward wave hence. But not to worry my fellow heads with moments like the eDlOVER dance, the punk out by Queen Roxannne, and the unforgettable swager of the late great Tupac Shakur its only that the hip hop and RAP we use to know may slowly making an needed comeback. Peace to Heavy D who should of had a moment because he's heavy!Much respect to Run DMC because Bboys still shine and to the lady who found the dudes behind the first rap song, I give a hip hop to the rhythmn of the boogie da B!

Childhood memories. This brings 'em back on the real. Ed Lover, Dr. Dre were clowns, but the show was my
first exposure to all things hip-hop.

To be fair, it’d be very easy to throw V.I.C. in with the rest of the dance rappers that have come out in the past few years. There are enough to fill up a VH1 “Where Are They Now?” special at this point. V.I.C. argues though, that he’s anything but one of those types of [...]
