There is no set time. I just get around to drawing portraits whenever I can grab some spare time from work.

I use my hands and a pen for the drawing and adobe illustrator to colour them.

10 months is super fast when you take into account my unorthodox working methods. All portraits are drawn directly onto Cliff Richard's back as he sleeps. That in itself isn't so tricky but my scanner has been playing up and as it fades and then stutters and jolts back to life it has a habit of rousing a furious Mr Richard. He washes almost every ... Read Moreday so if I fail to scan the image it almost certainly means starting again when he next sleeps. His erratic sleeping pattern can see him shuffling around in a state of fevered biscuit eating for wakeful night after night. Even month after month.

Hahahahaha thanks that was amusing. I personally draw onto the back of Noel Edmunds, but Cliff seems to have a back that seems more comparable to a drawing board.
