Yesterday we visited the remote and isolated island of Fatu Hiva in the Marquesas Islands. Fatu Hiva is the place where Thor Heyerdahl chose to spend a year in the late 1930s and later published the account of his experience in a now famous book entitled: Fatu Hiva; Back to Nature...

Jack Grove Have just returned from a great trip from Easter Island to Tahiti onboard the Clipper Odyssey. Attached is a photo of Little Jon and I in the Marquesas.

Zegrahm & Eco Expeditions Video from our Wild Alaska expedition. Trip highlights include remote islands of the Bering Sea, stunning scenery, countless nesting seabirds, brown bears digging for clams, fur seal pups lining the beaches, and feeding humpback whales. Jack Grove The Clipper Odyssey approached Pitcairn Island under clear blue skies. As the ship neared the shoreline, we noticed the little harbour tucked in amongst the rocks. Disembarkation on our zodiacs was a smooth process despite the notorious surf of Bounty Bay. The majority of the 50 people living here are the descendents of the mutineers of Bounty and their Tahitian consorts who landed on Pitcairn Island in 1790.
