The date is December 21st, 2012. The location is Northern Virginia. This date has been prophesized as the end of the world in the Mayan C...alendar, by Nostradamus..., and in other ancient texts. Most people haven't taken it seriously, but some have. It turns out the majority were incorrect when the dead rise. The overall theme of this novel is "a tale from the zombie's point of view". His name is Hetfield Madden. Too often zombies are viewed as merely a mass of evil attacking and eating innocent (or not so innocent) humans. This story takes a look at the intelligence behind the blank stare, through twists and turns of fate meant to keep readers on the edge of their seats. The tone of the book is one of underlying anger and hatred of a system that has left millions of infected people to die. The "Infected" aren't mindless, and in fact view themselves as sick... diseased. The anger they have toward the "Healthies" is fueled by the cruel way they are treated. It is intended to be a fast-paced illustration of how a man will not be ignored by a Government that doesn't care to understand, and that in the end right wins over wrong.
