If so, is there a compatable list that I can view? I am looking into gettinga Core i7-920 2.66 GHz machine, 8GB Ram, and a 1GB ATI Radeon 4850 (2 DVI, HDMI, and VGA adapter...s). Tom Coburn here lately, when I run Zoomtext when puter starts (I don't run it at
startup on purpose because I don't know who is going to use my machine)
the default configuration won't load, the keys like CTRL-SHIFT-C for
instance, don't work reverse video won't turn on, magnification won't
work, nothing. to fix the issue, sometimes ...I can manually load default
config, other times have to restart zoomtext altogether, what could be
causing this? win7 perhaps?

Tom Coburn I read on Twitter about Bar exam sued for refusing to accommodate blind law school grad who uses JAWS & ZoomText http://bit.ly/4gQZkr I stand with my fellow brotheran on this! Maybe he can help me with PearsonVUE, CompTIA, and Ivy Tech next! We stand together! we won't let 'em get away with it!!

PearsonVUE wouldn't let me use Jaws, Zoomtext, or WIndow Eyes any of them!!! They said only accomodation they would allow is having someone they appoint sit next to me and read the screen to me. Like I can really understand someone who can't speak English very well. Thats not an acceptable accomodation and they know it! I stand with my fellow brotheran!! Boy I wish I could sit in on that court hearing....

A represenative of PearsonVUE tried to explain it to me like someone asking for a 50 inch projection TV accomodation, thats not the same thing and they know it. Thats just downright discrimination, and I'm glad to see someone is finally taking a stand!! My case was pretty much the same thing, I had to take the A+ and Network+ exams just like a ... ... See MoreRead Morelawyer has to take the bar exam, I never got my college degree because of it, and an employer won't hire me without at least A+, its flat out discrimination. When I brought it to Ivy Tech and CompTIA's attention, they just said tough nuggies. Someone has to take a stand!

Darryl Parsons Is anyone having problems with ZT 9.1 and Outlook 2007? I am having seemingly random occasions when my computer just 'freezes' when using Outlook. Can't do anything except a hard reset. Not 100% sure if ZT is part of the problem.

Mike Schmidt The magnifier that ships with Windows 7 works in the Aero interface, why can't Zoomtext work in the Aero Interface?

Yes, I have the same question. In both Vista and Windows 7 we've had all these benefits of the Aero interface enhancement that cannot be experienced in any way while ZT is loaded (even though it may even be "disabled" as well). I'm not getting my Windows 'bang-for-the-buck' here and it's very dissappointing. It seems disingenuous of ZT to claim "Full Support" for Windows 7 while not supporting Aero which is an integral and increasingly essential part of the Operating System.

Youssef Elsherei i'm using zoomtext 9.18.5 with windows 7. very happy with the update except for the shortcuts. i noticed that the ctrl shift c for toggling color enhancements is gone without replacement. i wonder what's the reason behind that.

Sue Male I'm planning to buy a new PC which will - no doubt - have Windows 7 installed. I have ZoomText 9.13. Will this work? Any advice on the best systems and specifications to maximise my use of ZoomText? Will IE8 work? If not, what are the alternatives?

Joe Conway I would love ZoomText to work with Google Chrome. Isn't Chrome based off of IE8 is some way? I thought I heard they were similar in their back end shells or something. If ZoomText can now read IE8, is it on its way to working with Chrome? Any insite on Chrome and ZoomText would be great.
