I downloaded the update file, but it said This program cannot update zoom text 9.1 (Code-base version: 9.14.0.20) Not sure if I have the right file.

George, we switched updating mechanisms a few releases back. Go to this page http://www.aisquared.com/support/more/updates and read the section titled "

ZoomText 9.18.0 Update (for versions 9.10 through 9.14.5).
