Recently started doing research and collecting information on my family history, and finding and joining all of the various societys, museums and other sites has been quite an undertaking for sure. But, it is good to know that there are some truly wonderful people and websites available to acquire all sorts of information that would have been next to impossible to do without all the dedicated people, and of course technology. As it turns out, my familly has been a big part of Ohio's history, so it is good to see that some of the best sources of family history are found in Ohio. Thanks for the great site here on facebook and on the internet.

This is a great place that will draw your attention into the past that has formed our world today. Don't forget to check out the Historical Societies sites throughout Ohio celebrating Zane Grey, Neil Armstrong, Paul Dunbar, Warren G. Harding, R. B. Hayes, and many other Ohioans and their accomplishments.

If your interested in Genealogy and History research, the OHS archives library is the place to be. It can be found on the 3rd floor of the main museuem in Columbus. Tell Louise I sent you :) Hi Louise.

I love the OHS! I just used the African American Experience in Ohio collection last week while working with a student. Our students and I use digitized collections of primary sources quite a bit and yours had some great gems that we would not have had access to otherwise.

I'll look forward to staying in the OHS loop on Facebook.
