two very special guests from the legendary Viewlexx family (Syd and
Nancy Fortune)...
The Church of Pippi Langstrumpf is the official debut of the
Milan based old school elektro label Dischi Bellini. This compilation
has been selected by the Italian underground dj Pippi Langstrumpf
(Chiara Fumai), additionally mastered by Michele Tessadri and
visualized by the graphic of Studio Temp.

1: CLUB SILENCIO & PIPPI LANGSTRUMPF "Sister Midnight"
The result of collaboration between the Milanese duo Club Silencio and
dj Pippi Langstrumpf is a tune with killer groove and balearic
melodies. Imagine Pigna People on early works of Beroshima to
understand the message of "Sister Midnight".
2: BOTTIN & ROPIE "Theme From St. Mark 30124"
William Bottin from Venice, the new maestro of New-Disco, is
already out on labels like Bearfunk and Italians Do It Better. He
delivers, with the collaboration of bassist Ropie (from Eskimo
Recordings), a new anthem that follows the history of new disco-house
visions. Romantic energy for the dancefloors of the new millennium.
3: SYD "Jupiter's Deelight"
Taken from Viewlexx catalogue, the track by Grégoire 'SYD' Bar
combines the arpeggio of digital sounds with Italodisco inspirations.
Perfect choice for all the fans of CBS.
4: PIPPI LANGSTRUMPF "Thank You Mr Taylor"
Firstly released in 2008 on Casco's imprint Music Control,
"Thank You Mr Taylor" comes back with the 1st Dischi Bellini release.
Infectious grooves are the key of the track composed by Chiara Fumai,
following her research of intersection between house and techno.
5: FRATELLI RIVIERA "Kameo"
Inspired from Italodisco of early 80s, "Kameo" reflects the
style of Michele Tessadri aka Fratelli Riviera, already active on
Bearfunk. Massive beat pumps with powerful basslines and retro
melodies.
6: SYD featuring NANCY FORTUNE "Discomanic"
This is the 2nd track taken from I-F's Dutch label, Viewlexx.
This time the arpeggio's style by SYD is mixed with the magic voice of
Nancy Fortune. It is still a cult after some years from its first
publication (2002).
7: NAKION "Arkadia"
Key-figure of Asian music scene, Nakyoung Sung from Korea
composes the electronic kind of stuff where melody plays with sounds
taken from vintage videogames. Electro as oriental language.
8: MOTORCYCLE BOY "Breast-fed Robot"
Already signed as artist of the Swedish Rollerboys Recordings,
Federico Marchioli aka Motorcycle Boy is the new Italian talent of
electro, born (only) 25 years ago. His track takes the energy from 8bit
sounds: probably this guy eats sid processor for breakfast...
9: ULTRON "Wandering Stars"
"Wandering Stars" is Italodisco of the 2009 composed by a
graffiti-artist from Mexico. Blips, bassline and spacesynth melodies
are the main elements of his danceable music.
10: CLUB SILENCIO "Black Is The Ultimate"
There are very few words for define this track by Club Silencio: it's simply Funky House in slow-motion.
11: DJ GIO MC-505 "Porn Music Movie"
Well know from a decade as music journalist, Giosuè Impellizzeri
is also a producer (his first track "Commodore Generation" was remixed
by Ural 13 Diktators in 2001). Now he has created a kind of musical
translation of porn movie: this is Electro played live with analog
synthesizers.
