Jason White I know we are all sad about the possible demise of Ejay, but looking on the bright side this could be a turning point for the software, which could in fact be improved upon and have a bundle of new features. Look what happened with Acid after it was purchased by Sony.

Alex Gardner eJay got me into music creation back in 2002 when i was only 11. I've got both Reason and FL8 and i am taking a music tech course at college. I still use the products and Dance 7 is amazing for editing my sounds and have only just got my hands on Techno 5. A big Thank YOU! to everyone who inspired me at eJay and the old eJay site (with the upload mixer ;)

Ciaran Doherty all my respects go out to Ejay for seeing it right through till the bitter end... the market never was massive but i still think and always have thought, that for half the cost, 10 times more of the profit, you can produce a simple professional production tool allot like Fruity Loops, which is professional, expensive and only has key note riffs so you can create your own loops etc.
I do look forward to the next product and always am optimistic about Ejay... its ever changing and adapting :D

Sadly, Empire Interactive Europe Limited is in Administration. The intellectual property, or the "rights" to sell eJay products are now owned by a different company. Only this new owner can legally produce eJay products or licence other people to do so...

eJay official Empire Interactive Europe Limited is in Administration. The intellectual property, or the "rights" to sell eJay products are now owned by a different company. Only they can produce eJay products or licence other people to do so. Sadly they do not have to provide support, and they would probably not be in a position to do so in any case. Hopefully this isn't the end of eJay, and a phoenix will rise from the ashes!

The new eJay "eQuality" was still being developed when Empire ceased trading. Therefore it was not released. We hope that the new owners of the eJay brand will continue where Empire left off. Only time will tell...

Damien Donnelly They aren't. They went bust. Like over a month ago. Empire Interactive (The people who own ejay) are GONE. DEAD. No equality, no nothing. Idiots should have released Equality in whatever state it was in February.

I believe it was taken down by the people that provided Empire's hosting without any notice. I guess they figured they might not get paid the hosting fee.
