e.b. glassworks I've finished two robots, one to go, and then the photos. I've also added a new color combination to the ornaments that's a blend of retro greens -- it's Laurie's new favorite, which is always a good sign. Whenever Laurie likes something it usually turns out to be extremely popular.

Beautiful glass work - vibrant colors and excellent design. I have a lot of perfume bottles and needed a great pop of color - this was perfect.

e.b. glassworks Developing the robots is taking quite a bit of time, but I think I've finally got the three colors for the three robots finally selected: pink, dark teal, and red. @Laurie is really diggin' the pink one, which she has dubbed the "LOVEbot".

e.b. glassworks Just did my one-year sales totals and will be discontinuing all ornaments and paperweights that are "Azul" and "Elvis Red and Blue" (two new colors to be revealed in the upcoming weeks). Otherwise I was surprised to find my red frog paperweight was the highest grossing item this year...the crayon colored snail wasn't far behind.

e.b. glassworks Next week I'm heading to California to visit family and a couple of the galleries representing my work. Time for developing the robots is quickly shrinking! I have developed a new color scheme for ornaments--a combination of dark teals and oranges. Goes with the bright and midcentury theme that's popular in my work.

e.b. glassworks Sneak peek at the robot prototypes...I've been working on these a few days. Still have lots of work to do, but here's a glimpse into the process of creation. I'm planning on rolling out three robots in January, the colors will be different, and of course there is lots of tweaking still to be done, but you get the general idea. More to come!

e.b. glassworks The robot prototypes are coming along--and they're turning out great. I'm getting really excited about them. Will post photos soon!

e.b. glassworks Finally! Creating on some new work for 2010! I'll post the first photos here. But, that's still a few weeks away...all I have to say is: think Robots.

e.b. glassworks Shipping out some new perfume bottles to Uncommon Goods today. Should be on there site within the next week or two.

e.b. glassworks My son has been sick for the last week and Thanksgiving is approaching rapidly, which means lots of orders to ship in the next two weeks. Lookin' forward to December and a little time to play with glass.

e.b. glassworks Mentioned in this article today. I'm looking forward to seeing the newly redesigned Art Center.

e.b. glassworks Just received this from Seebeck Gallery in Wisconsin! This ad will be featured in a local magazine.

e.b. glassworks Just got my booth number for the Buyer's Market in Philly. #4821. I look forward to meeting my current customers and signing up some new galleries! Now I have to focus on preparing some new pieces and new color combinations for my current work. Then, making all the preparations for the display and coordinating ship...ping. And, finding a hotel and getting a plane ticket!

e.b. glassworks Beginning preparations for my first Buyer's Market of American Craft (BMAC) show in Philly in February. And by "preparations" I mean "buying a lot of stuff".
