e.b. glassworks Just got my booth number for the Buyer's Market in Philly. #4821. I look forward to meeting my current customers and signing up some new galleries! Now I have to focus on preparing some new pieces and new color combinations for my current work. Then, making all the preparations for the display and coordinating shipping. And, finding a hotel and getting a plane ticket!

e.b. glassworks Beginning preparations for my first Buyer's Market of American Craft (BMAC) show in Philly in February. And by "preparations" I mean "buying a lot of stuff".

e.b. glassworks I had planned on using the last two weeks to create some new designs -- but I got so many orders I only worked on new designs for 1 day. I definitely need a few more days in the week. I'm booked up with orders through September. Hope it continues!

e.b. glassworks This is a busy day! Just added two new galleries: The Backdrop in Woodstock, Illinois and PISMO in Denver. I think this is a sign of economic recovery!

e.b. glassworks This week? I'll be working on some new pieces and color schemes. Laurie has created a a few color schemes inspired by the Pantone Fall and Winter Fashion report -- but the colors for borosilicate glass are limiting. As usual, we are both drawn to colors with a 1950's vibe.

e.b. glassworks I'll be spending the next few weeks working on some new work for 2010! Laurie (wife) is insisting I create a bird sculpture. A local gallery is asking for pendants. I'm leaning toward wall sculpture. Any other suggestions?

e.b. glassworks Good news! My paperweights are proving popular with the Uno Alla Volta catalog. Just got two purchase orders at once. Need to send 20 more paperweights this week!
