el Mafrex, popularly known as d "gospel dancehall GURU" is a gospel artiste. He started playing music since age seven, and went professional late 2000. He started a 5-man group called M.O.D.(Men Of Destiny), where he was lead vocalist. He left the group in 2004 for a solo career, due to the mantle of God upon his life... giving birth to the "el Mafrex" project. Growing up in the church gives him the abilility to swing between different brands of music like- Ragga, Afro, Highlife, Jazz and R n B. He is a radical for Christ and because of his peculiar style of Gospel music he has won several awards, and has also ministered in Churches, Conferences and major Gigs around the country. He is known as a "no- nonsense man" when it comes to gospel music. His dependence on God's grace and annointing is absolute. He has been a blessing to many lives via his music and prays to conquer more grounds for GOD.
