Gravestone of Halloween Peabody, for whom a tune was written. She was buried in Oberlin, OH, and with
a name like that, she deserves a memorial tune.

ensemble POLARIS
New tunes hatched by various members of the band, some with a focus on our newest (and weirdest-looking) instrument: the NYCKELHARPA!!!
And some of the older standby tunes, so you can sing along.
Come and find out what a nyckelharpa is, how it sounds, and discover that there IS another instrument just as distinctive than... the hurdy gurdy...if not more so.
And listen to the rest of us, too.
Kirk Elliott, Margaret Gay, Marco Cera, Katherine Hill, Colin Savage, Debashis Sinha and Alison Melville.
