I think these two quotes illuminate Freeforming. Buber stressed that an Ich-Du relationship lacks any composition (e.g. structure) and communicates no content (e.g. information). Despite the fact that Ich-Du cannot be proven to happen as an event (e.g...

You are invited to an intensive weekend of Freeforming.
24-25 October 2009
Edmund Waller School
Waller Road
London
SE14 5LY
Freeforming is a co-creative, dynamic, meditative art - a play in connective awareness. Freeforming promotes being creatively alive to contact in the present moment.
Freeforming is a present-centred, i...mprovisation focused on shared attention between participants – an embodied, relational expression that draws from Aikido, Gestalt Therapy and Zen.
The practice illumines kimusubi, intersubjectivity, I-thou relating, attunement and mutual mindfulness and frees up rigid patterning of movement and ways of being.
The weekend will provide an introduction to the principles and skills of Freeforming and ample opportunity to explore, experiment, practice and play.
· Resting in awareness - being present here and now.
· Deep “listening”
· Expanding sensation
· Linking movement-breath-intention-attention
· Riding the moment
· Working with touch
· Inversion
· Freeing breath into voice
· Working with the whole - as partners and as a group
The weekend will be facilitated by Peri Mackintosh the originator of Freeforming.
The weekend end will count as 14 hours Continuing Professional Development and will be certificated if required.
£160 weekend £80 single day (insurance included).
10% discount if booked before September 24.
