gdgt Barnes & Noble announce their eBook reader! I hate the word "killer," but is this a Kindle Conquerer? It does look pretty slick.

@Gregory you really think libraries are relevent today? I look around myself on the subway in NYC and I might see 1-2 people w/ a library book, maybe a half-dozen Kindles or Kindle clones, and the rest w/ hard copies. eBooks are very obviously a growing market, not niche at all. The ability to lend eBooks w/ Nook is *huge*. I still think the one... Read More factor that will win all is price. Additional functionality is great, but $250 is still out of range for most of the general public. I'd love to see if someone can hit that $99 price-point by the holidays! I'm still wondering why they can't give these things away for free... aren't eBooks much cheaper to create and distribute than regular books? Wouldn't most of the price of an eBook go straight to the bottom-line?
