news from meesh's studio! i fly from portland to portland tomorrow. on my way to steph's for a few weeks to teach workshops, visit and see a red sox game at fenway! i'll have a donkey load of photos to share of my adventures.

Workshop Description:
The instructors have been making jewelry together for the last two years, calling their collaborative undertaking Hearts and Bones Studio (www.heartsandbonesstudio.com). Students will create earr...ing components using Shrinky Dink plastic and Prismacolor markers and colored pencils. The components will be wireworked with handmade glass beads and other findings. Each student will create at least one pair of unique earrings and learn about the endless possibilities of shrink plastic. Bring your sketchbook of ideas!
Project will be completed in class.
Student must be at least 12 years old to register for this class.
Supplies to Bring: Paper, pen, scissors, task lamp.
Pliers: Flatnose without grooves, flush end-cutting, standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: Supplies for two pairs of earrings: four handmade glass beads and Lucite flowers, shrink plastic, 20-gauge wire, earring wires, accent beads.Read More
