hussein chalayan is a British/Turkish Cypriot fashion designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1993.
but born in Nicosia (Lefkoşa in Turkish) in 1970 and graduated from the Turkish Maarif College .

Video dress - art madness but great!
Just went to exihibition at Design Museum, London - loved it! As a British born Turkish Cypriot many of the themes resonate with me....and I just wanted to feel the clothes. The films were good too - best bit is man and woman eating karpuz and helim.....so Cypriot I love it!
Would like to send HC an email, but not sure how or even if I can?
