ilikeoi Test with new foam proves the mould retool worked. Now retooling the remaining foam moulds, plus making 1 new part for a clean baseline.

ilikeoi 1 of 3 foam moulds retooled, shot the foam, foam shrinks just right. Testing upholstery, if good, can retool the other 2 foam moulds.

ilikeoi Boo. Foam still shrinks. Retool the moulds we must. Testing first one within the next week I think.

ilikeoi Cross your fingers. Thanks!

ilikeoi And, incase you skipped over it, it's GREEN! The world is happy about that.

ilikeoi BASF is going to test their newest Green polyurethane product for us early next week, hope this new product doesn't shrink as much.

ilikeoi We recently discussed our "shrinkage" problem with our suppliers, and no it wasn't just in the pool.

ilikeoi Anyone have some non-shrinking foam? We are following up with the manufacturer to see if there is a way to control the foam... stay tuned.

ilikeoi These problems are causing unwanted delays. We will do everything we can to solve these challenges quickly, while maintaining all standards.

ilikeoi Another problem... Some of the base edges have rough sharp corners, but our powder coating guys say to slow down the laser on the turns.

ilikeoi Yikes! The foam is shrinking. Need to figure out a way to keep its shape, or we will have to retool the foam moulds... hmmm.
