I have been capturing the integrity and beauty of woodland creatures through the art of traditional Taxidermy. Taught by a local taxidermy hobbyist, and schooled by Dave Tonneson in North Dakota.I have learned how to recreate a honest comprehension of existence, with delicacy and accuracy. Currently I have been interested in the preservation of birds. I have always had a fondness for hands on, traditional art forms, including printmaking and painting. I have found Taxidermy a perfect way to pay homage to the magic and light hearted elegance of natural wildlife while capturing a poignant sadness and beauty to the memento mori.
