Angie, sorry about your negative experiences. Agree with you: TBR management is highly unprofessional and puts its guests at risk.

I hope your message won't get erased like mine got. That's how TBR management and its henchman handle these serious situation. In my post here, I complained that we got burglarized while staying at TBR. Nobody from ... See MoreTBR management ever talked to us even though we tried to contact them on numerous occassions. They played dead. Then, nine hours after our burglary there was a woman attacked and violated at the Hotel. How unprofessional from TBR management to expose its guest to danger - and then not even make an attempt to meet with them to discuss the situation !

I hope TBR takes the money it makes from filming the movie to provide better environment and security for its guests !

Obviously you had a bad experience and I am sure sorry about that but that doesn't take away from the wonderful perfect experiences I have had there and others I know have had there. I will continue to support TBR. I'm not sure when that happened to you but I am sure they have changed personnel as the people there were way above par, professional... See More and wonderful. It seems you must have a black cloud following you if you have been ripped off many times, I have never been ripped off while traveling. We are both entitled to our opinions just giving mine sorry if you do not agree.

If you do, and it gets stolen - as ours got stolen from our LOCKED room by Hotel's employees during our absence - than Turtle Bay Resort will tell you that you should not bring such an expensive equipment there ! But it is not only Photographers, it applies to tourists, too. Be very careful before you book your stay in Turtle Bay Resort. There is a lot of crime at the Resort that ranges from simple thefts to violence against women. Believe me: it happened to us - it WILL happen to YOU !!

You really should not lure unsuspected tourists to Turtle Bay Resort & Hotel with pretty pictures unless you improve your security measures at and around the Hotel. Also, your chief of Security, Mr. T.D., is a corrupted liar every Law Enforcement Officer in Hawaii should be ashamed of. We have been victims of crime there and same night, there was a women violated at the Hotel. Both cases were attended by Honolulu Police Department. Shame on Turtle Bay Resort !!
