Ten Other Reasons to learn NZSL
1) It’s bloody handy in nightclubs.
2) Once qualified, an interpreter earns an average of $50 bucks an hour!
3) If you’re into scuba diving (or even snorkelling), you can warn your partner there’s an influx of stingrays behind them.
4) Give your newborn a headstart by signing away with them.... Babies can express basic signs several months before they can master basic speech.
5) During a toxic gas leak, you can still give emergency crews directions!
6) It’s excellent upper body exercise, and tends to keep you fit and young looking.
