is the pseudonym for Claire Broadley, an artist from Leeds, Yorkshire who makes electronic pop music.

Claire's influences are often cited as 1980s synthpop (such as the Human League), and computer games of the 1980s.

She began her career as a solo artist in June 1999, aged 19. Claire is now aged 27 and still writes and produces all her own music.

In 2005, Printed Circuit circumnavigated the globe, visiting Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the USA in a two month trip. She has also toured Scandinavia and northern Europe and regularly plays live in the UK.

Hi Claire and Printed Circuit,

I’m Jed and I run a night at the Common Place called ‘Think for Yourself’, we had our first night on 7th March. So far we play funk and soul records, hip-hop, beats, electro and there’s a projector going on with visuals. We thought that for the second gig it’d be great to have some artists actually performing, so would you be interested in playing at the Common Place on Saturday 7th June?
