Hi Heidi, unfortunately we're not attending the Melbourne Home Show this year. We do however, have some other events in Melbourne http://www.springfree.com.au/wheretoseeus - feel free to give us a call if you'd like anymore information. :) Kristen, Springfree

Hi Tara, I can certainly tell you the fibreglass rods won't snap. They're actually stronger than steel in this installation. The structural weight capacity of the 2 larger models is 1100 lbs - so you won't be breaking these things! However, as we are focused on safety; we represent jumper weights of 220 lbs on the larger models in our packaging and manuals. This is a safe, conservative middle ground estimate that covers the majority of installations and usages. This doesn’t mean someone over these weights can break the trampoline, what it means they could run the risk of ‘bottoming out’ (a fancy word for hitting the ground) if they were to be jumping like the world’s next Olympic trampolinist!

The easy solution if you are concerned, is to either purchase leg extensions (available on the SF90E) or excavate a small dip (300mm) in the ground under the middle of the trampoline, to provide greater clearance.
