Ok, so the fight's still on. Given the way things drag on in court, would this be resolved over the next month or two ? Or does it last an entire year - all the way to the next LSB election (a de facto win for the ACE/Take Forward faction) ?

Lavarn Williams spun the lawsuit and the election last night on "Radio Unnameable"; once more omitting key points of the judge's statement. They received a few syncophantic calls of support as well. Bob Fass ridiculed whoever called in opposition (before hanging up). Of course, Monroe got the usual treatment.

Dear Robert Knight,

You had been requested yesterday (May 12) both in writing and orally to
appear in my office for a meeting to discuss a very serious act that you
had perpetrated in WBAI's facilities the day before. You failed to show up
for the meeting this morning in the same manner that you have refused to
comply with instructions on countless occasions over the past eight
months.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 11 you entered my office on two
separate occasions between 5:10 pm and 5:25 pm without permission or
authorization. I was away from my desk at the time. I returned to my
office at 5:35 pm to discover that the file folders on my desk had been
tampered with and that two folders, one with your name on it and the other
with Steve Brown's name had disappeared.

At 5:26 pm you were seen walking away from my office and then walking down
the hall towards the copying machine reading an open folder that you had
plucked from under your jacket. At 5:27 pm you began copying the contents
of the folder and proceeded with that activity for several more minutes.

I consider the unauthorized entry into my office and the removal of the
folders from my desk to be illegal acts.

Furthermore, you were instructed in writing six weeks ago that upon your
return to your job following a one-month suspension for gross
insubordination you were to report to me on a daily basis. Once again you
failed to comply with these instructions.

Under these circumstances I have no other option but to terminate your
employment at WBAI effective immediately. You are to remove all your
personal belongings from your office by 5 pm today.

The event went well for the most part. Toward the final minutes of the event the local election supervisor became upset with some criticisms directed at him and left the forum.
