Quynh Hm is there anyway you can make your "one gleam after the shadow" album available through cdjapan? I've only been able to get "Days" through there. Unless all the first album are sold out now. :(

As I have commented before, I (Nadehiko) have personally been working on a soundtrack for my friend's indie film which is expected to be finalized in a month or so. With help from pandaa's beloved Asako on vocals and Nagakura-kun from YOMOYA doing the chorus part (and me playing everything else including the hot-rockin...g-but-the-world's-most-awful guitar shreds haha), I was able to complete the song today. I uploaded the song on the Music Player on the left column of this page for you guys to enjoy (but don't know if this player is working). So... here you go!

It's going to be a US indie movie but the details are not clarified yet. It's a small student project for an art school so it might not be published to the public. I'll let you know when I get the details. Thanks for your interest!

Hey thank you! Pop'n'roll!!! Our pre-production take has been checked by the Zankyo guys and they want us to make a few more songs before going into recording... So we're back in the studio again, making several more tracks. Our recording dates are already fixed so we're in a big hurry to get the new ones done.

We will be recording from the end of... Read More Nov. so the album should come out in spring 2010 or something. Sorry for all the delay, and thanks to everyone waiting patiently!

In the mean while, I (Nadehiko) have been working on a soundtrack for my friend's indie film. I should be able to complete it and share it with you guys in a few days!

Awesome!! Can't wait for the new album then, will have to save up some money to buy it. Hopefully you'll have it through other online sites besides Towerrecords since they don't ship overseas. :( And looking forward to the soundtrack when you're finished!! =)

No, we never made posters for selling. Zankyo makes posters for album promotions but I think they ran out of ours way back when.

We could give you the full data package (ai + eps) if you're interested in printing them on your own - if you could keep it within personal use only, of course!

That would be so lovely! Thank you so much for helping out! Didn't know there were forums for Japanese music out there. Is Japanese indie music popular outside Japan? Quite interesting. :)

There's a ton of forums for Japanese music! Some are based in Singapore, where J-music is huge, and a lot here in the US.

I'll tell you the truth, at the forums I go to, people mainly listen to the mainstream J-pop, ayumi hamasaki, namie amuro, koda kumi, boa, etc.

But it really depends on where you go. At one forum I'm at, called JpopStop, more people are into the indie bands, and people like Spangle Call lilli Line and school food punishment.... Read More

But, the problem is, that here in the US, we don't really get exposed to a lot of bands from Japan, and especially the indie ones, so you have to kind of make the effort to look and dig around.

It's good when you know other people who know them too, so you can spread the word. I think the best new invention for music around the world is Last fm. :)
