the SOBEYs: missionaries to nicaragua No flooding inside any buildings today at CAMLOT (ministry campground/headquarters). Thank you for your prayers! We've got sandbags in front all all the doors, we'll built a couple of barricades, and dug some trenches... trying to alleviate some of the flooding.
the SOBEYs: missionaries to nicaragua We just got back a little while ago from helping out with the flooding at the campground. It's almost 2AM. We were blocked in on the road leaving Castle because so many cars & buses got stuck. Thank you STL for a 4x4 vehicle! We were able to help pull out one family that had been stuck for 3 hours.

Last year, we started an outreach here with King’s Castle called Mega Día. The idea was to have an incredible event, full of fun and excitement just to show the kids of Nicaragua how special they are to God. The day starts out with all kinds of games and activities, each offering a a chance to win “Castle Dollars” to s...pend in the prize shop. The second part of the event is up in our Multipurpose Building where we have a service with the kids. It starts out with a time of worship and is followed by an illustrated sermon and theatrical drama communicating God’s truth from the Bible. We started doing this event on the first Saturdays of the month, and we were overwhelmed by the response. Both kids and pastors couldn’t wait until the next event. One little girl, who lives in the garbage dump, came to our first Mega Día. She ran up to us saying that this was the happiest day of her entire life.

( the city's name translates to"The Port of Heads") They speak Misquito. We always face intense spiritual warfare, but God is greater!! Our KIng's Castle Nicaragua staff is going as well as other Castle teams, and local pastor...s with one goal: to make Jesus known!! We are excited to see what God is going to do!!!

the SOBEYs: missionaries to nicaragua MegaDia is coming up in two weeks!! Please pray that God touches each one of these kids lives!! In January it was announced at Nicaragua's General Council so we are expecting a great turn out, and an awesome opportunity for God to transform lives. =)
