My first wedding assignment at the Capella @ Sentosa. Also, my first "real wedding" in two months as I've been travelling around quite a bit. As much as I love seeing new places, real weddings always had a very special place in my heart. For some reason, it feels very natural to me, almost something that does not requi...re any special effort to document it well.

One of those days that you knew it was gonna pour but for some reason the weather held up just enough for you to complete your work and then, it rained cats and dogs right after the task was done. I realised that I've been talking awfully a lot about the weather recently but I guess it is inevitable if your job is depe...ndent on it (being in your favour).

Rain, cold temperatures, chilly winds. It certainly does sound a lot like London. But thankfully the weather held up for us at least for the two days that we were shooting. Other than the persistent chilly winds, we had bright glorious sunshine which was quite a rare treat in London. Special thanks to Yik Shiong & Lin ...Li for trusting me with my creative judgment, for enduring the bitter-cold wind and for bringing me to the most wonderful crepes place at Hampstead. I shall make it my "must-have" whenever I'm stopping by London.

This would be my first time doing a bridal shoot in Jurong Bird Park. Before this, I didn't even know that it was possible to have a wedding at the Bird Park (I heard you can do the same thing in the Zoo). I had a short session with Alex & Jessie a week before I left for London and thankfully the weather held up pretty... well as it was raining cats and dogs a few days before.

A couple have successfully sued their wedding photographer for his shoddy coverage of their big day. Anyone can point a camera at a happy couple, but what pitfalls do the professionals face?

My very first musician couple. Trung Thuan & Hai Van are from Vietnam and I myself having traveled in Vietnam for quite a bit a couple of years back, we naturally had a common topic to converse about. So, the entire shoot was in fact pretty chatty which helps create a more relaxed atmosphere. Not that they needed to le...arn how to relax anyway as they were having fun right from the moment I clicked my camera shutter. This would be my last wedding post before I head off to London & Amsterdam.

Some say that Prague is as beautiful as Paris, which is true in many ways. Both cities are equally gorgeous and yet both are quite different, unique in its own way. This would be my first visit to the bohemian city of Prague and I must say that the experience was absolutely amazing to say the least and in no small part... thanks to the hospitality of Jan & Jitka, the amazing folks at Lida Guest House. For me, it was simply a home away from home. Of course, a beautiful city isn't complete without its wonderful people. To this end I would like to thank the dancers we met at Malostranské náměstí for the wonderful dance routine despite the bitter-cold morning, the Icelandic ice-cream man for his champagne. In his own words, "A wedding isn't complete without champagne". And the Japanese and Spanish tourists who in some ways added a special touch to this series of photos. Last but not least, to Rick & Ishir who have been absolutely wonderful throughout the entire shoot, for trusting me with my artistic judgment in a city that is completely foreign to me and also for taking care of my Dad when I was busy scouting for location. This would be his first trip to Europe and I'm sure he'll always remember both of you very fondly.
