Pricing can be very tricky. $600 is likely beyond the reach of many students, but should be fine for companies whose productivity will be increased quite a bit by using uCalc. In any event, I'm open to hearing what you'd consider the ideal price. Meanwhile you can't go wrong with the current 80% discount for signing up as a fan. Furthermore, if you also sign up as uCalc affiliate at http://www.ucalc.com/affiliate.html , you can actually earn a few hundred dollars for each sale that passes through you.

Speaking of Lisp, check out the uCalc Language Builder implementation of it, which takes less than 200 lines of code. The link is http://www.ucalc.com/lisp.txt .

fascinating indeed, but I still think it is overpriced. $600 for a proprietary, windows-only, essentially chained rule interpreter, that you could write in lisp in about 2 pages?

Several fans have successfully purchased uCalc FMP with the coupon that was sent to their Inbox last week. However, if you opted out of receiving Updates from this page when signing up, then you wouldn't have received the coupon. If you would like to receive uCalc updates in the future, please click "Edit Settings" on this page, and make sure there is a checkmark next to: "Allow uCalc to send Updates...".

For now, a new coupon code for the same amount is temporarily being posted publicly for the benefit of those who didn't receive an update. Please see the most recent note posted on this page (which will likely be deleted after around 1 week) for the coupon.

This note is to say thank you to everyone who has signed up so far. Please check your Inbox for the 95% coupon code. Some of you will have received the update a second time. There was some fluctuation around the 20th sign-up, so the coupon was re-sent to make sure that everyone has received it.
